New radiator for SB V8 '62 Impala

Is there a difference between a 4 core Small block and a big block radiator? They both seem to have the same dimensions. Can I put a big block radiator in place of my SB radiator and still use my SB fan shroud? What essentially is the difference between your 11667 and 14568 radiators?

Radiators are the same. Fan shroud is different between the SBC and the 348–409 because of the length of the engine. SBC shroud is deeper because the engine is not as close to the radiator as the larger engines. Some 4 core radiators will interfer with the power steering box if the conversion to modern steering has been or will be done. You can get a notched radiator for those cases.

Javk, Thanks for your patience. Mickey's response is correct. The difference is 11667 is for a 283 small block with core size 17 1/2 X 25 1/2 X 2 . 14568 is for a 409 big block. Different core sizes. Need to know exactly which core size you need. Also need to know manual or automatic transmission and with or without air conditioning. Thanks
