1956 Chevy 265 Motor Casting Date Code
Nothing.
Wow, I have seen some Chevy 265 ( need rebuilt ) go $5–600 and mine priced
@$4–500 not sell. I thought the date code had something to do with it because
two would be buyers ask me for the date code. Then they backed out.

What is so special about the 1956 Chevy motor 265 DATE CODE casting #s. I know the numbers represent the 12 months of the year and the earliest letter is M (made in 1955)? , but what makes some month letters more special than other months. For example B236 etc. other than it makes the 1956 car a matching numbers car.?
